Glossybox

The novelty of my August Glossybox arriving this month was just as good as the last one! I don’t think I will ever get over the surprise of that beautiful little box coming through the front door.

So this month let me tell you what I got…

1. Oceane Femme makeup remover pen

This little beauty caught my eye straight away. I don’t know about you but I always rush my makeup in the morning, as I would rather have a few more minutes in bed to get me through the day. Because I tend to rush, I get this mascara line just above my eyelashes. This new pen (which comes with refills) is much better than using a new face wipe or rubbing it with your finger.

2. Philosophy 3 in 1 cleanser

Being the simple girl that I am I don’t tend to have a very complicated skin routine. In fact it is minimal at best. Maybe this little sample of a cleanser will show me the error of my ways? Have you tried it?

3. Elite Eyelash Curler

I recently found out that this curler costs 25 squid from most recommended retailers, 25 squid! Well good thing Glossybox sent it to me this month otherwise it would never have been in my life. As I concentrate on my eyes more than any other features whilst doing my own makeup, these curlers have stood up to the challenge. What I also like is that they come with little refills! More of an investment than a purchase if you ask me!

4. Viva la Juicy

I don’t normally wear women’s perfume as I find a lot of them to smell too floral or sweet. Having said that I think that this could be the women’s perfume for me!

5. Jelly Pong Pong 2 in 1 eyeliner and shadow
One of the main reasons I started to subscribe to Glossybox was so I would be able to discover new brands and new products. I haven’t tried this 2 in 1 but I know it’s not for me just by looking at the colour. Maybe I’ll give it to my mum? You might think I’m being a little judgemental so I went on their website (click the link above) and the rest of their line looks intriguing.
